Continuing our annual tradition of working with charities close to our hearts – the staff at WeGotTickets have selected another great cause to support this festive period. Last year we partnered with the incredible Friends of The Earth, raising nearly £5000 for their efforts in protecting people and the planet.
This year we’re delighted to be working with Action Against Hunger to support their vision of a world free from hunger, starvation and malnutrition. You have the chance this December and January to donate when buying tickets, so you too can contribute to ending world hunger and delivering life-saving aid to those that need it.
We’re incredibly excited to be working with such an amazing charity, and proud to be collecting for such an important cause. Below Action Against Hunger give us a little insight into the fantastic work they do and just how far reaching an impact they have.
In their own words – Action Against Hunger
Action Against Hunger is a global humanitarian organisation that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger. We save the lives of malnourished children. We ensure everyone can access clean water, food, training, and healthcare. We enable entire communities to be free from hunger. For over 40 years, across 59 countries, we have led the global fight against hunger. Last year alone, we reached 26 million people.
We save the lives of children and work with their communities before and after disaster strikes. We enable people to provide for themselves, see their children grow up strong, and build prosperous communities. We constantly search for more effective solutions, while sharing our knowledge and expertise with the world.
We push for long-term change. We will never give up. Until the world is free from hunger.
