This Friday sees the return or our Comedy Spotlight – our annual celebration of the amazing UK comedy scene, with a focus on the independent and grassroots sector.
We’ll be highlighting over 150 of your comedy shows taking place between the 10th and 26th of April, encouraging event goers to support their local comedy events and boosting awareness of the fantastic promoters and comedy clubs that list events with us.
The campaign will include:
- National and regional mailshot series promoting the Comedy Spotlight to over 560,000 subscribers.
- Features and highlights on our website.
- Daily posts on Instagram, Threads and Bluesky highlighting shows taking place that day.
- Advertising on British Comedy Guide, introducing your shows to their dedicated comedy fans.
- Listings and features on our extensive affiliate network, including sites such as Ents24 and Chortle.
Though we’ll be making a concerted effort promoting comedy events during this period, we’ll still be maintaining our support for all genres and event types through our regular national, regional and genre-focused mailshots, social media support and other website features.
