Every December we fundraise for a charity close to our heart, and this year our staff voted to support The Trussell Trust. To be honest, it was an easy choice once we read that between 1st April 2022 and 30th September 2022, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s UK-wide network distributed 1.3 million food parcels to people facing hardship – an increase of 52% compared to the same period in 2019, with half a million of these parcels distributed to children.
Throughout 2022 we’ve been supporting Tickets For Good in their mission to reward NHS staff, carers, refugees and other deserving people, with tickets to a great night out, and we’ll continue our work with them in January. But during the entire month of December we’ll be raising awareness of The Trussell Trust and collecting donations on their behalf when customers buy tickets.
